Everything you need, nothing you don't

To get work done you have to choose between cabin in the woods or middle of big city, the Hacker House has all the gear needed to be productive without the distractions. Also worth mentioning that I took many full bandwidth video calls while I was there -- that was impressive.

Unique Place

The hacker house is a unique place. Wake up and you might mistake it for home. Step out of the bedroom and you’re in a glass house, surrounded by peaceful nature and an instant feeling of freedom. Just what you need to do some serious work, because there you feel like nowehere else. Also, you WILL cross paths with the goose and the duck - who are best friends - and whether you’re an animal lover or not, I guarantee they will make you smile.

Anyone considering this property please know the pictures do not give it justice. Upon arriving the surround will take your breath away. It offered lots to do for everyone my husband kept busy fishing, kids ran up and down the hiking trails, petting the farm animals and so much more. It’s so beautiful and peaceful but above all clean, well equipped and great WiFi! Anyone looking for shopping or restaurants it’s all less than 12 minutes away. We highly recommend staying here!

You can't beat the view while you work and the host is incredible gracious. It's incredible for someone looking for a remote getaway to think and relax (and come up with new ideas), but it's also great for a couple looking to get away from the big city and enjoy the beautiful starlit sky, abundant wildlife and crisp heavenly clear air.

Perfect base camp

The Hacker House proved to be the perfect base camp for our trip! The surroundings are beautiful and quiet; canoeing on the lake was a fun experience. Ryan is a very responsive and thoughtful host. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

This accommodation has been one of the best experiences, our goal was to disconnect from the routine chaos between work and school for a few days and reconnect together as a family taking advantage of our wedding anniversary; the comforts of this creative space, Ryan’s kindness and disposition at all times far exceeded our expectations to feel calm and safe added to the calm, the sound of nature and the animals give it a magical touch. We would return without hesitation twice, we have fallen in love with Hacker House and its pets, two affectionate cows, two goats, a duck and a goose ❤️

If you’re a creator or entrepreneur looking for the perfect place to lock in and make real progress on your project, Ryan’s Hacker House is the spot. It’s got everything you need: well-equipped workspaces with monitors, keyboards, blazing-fast internet, and even an espresso machine to keep you fueled. The accommodations are top-notch, and the views are unreal. Sitting out by the lake (big pond?) or enjoying the outdoor spaces is the perfect way to recharge when you need a break. The setup is ideal whether you’re cranking away at the desk or cooking up something in the fully stocked kitchen. If you feel like stepping out, there’s an amazing little town nearby with great restaurants to keep you energized. It’s private, scenic, and inspiring—a whole vibe for getting things done. I came here to push my project over a hump, and it delivered. Can’t wait to come back with my next big idea. Highly recommend!
